Reading some of the reviews I hesitated in purchasing, but after a week I decided to order. I am glad I did and think this one is the best of all of Katie's CDs so far.

I have all three of Katie's albums and there is a gem on this one, as there are on all of them. Mary Pickford (Used to Eat Roses) is my favourite. Most of the others grow on you.

I have listened to the CD three times now and think that most of it is original and brilliant. She does not experiment with her voice as much as in the other 2 albums, but her songs can be listened to anywhere, anytime, by anyone, and enjoyed. I prefer Katie in bluesy songs like Perfect Circle (the best track on the album), and think she is best when she is sassy and singing smooth jazz.

arrrrghhhh, this CD has been stuck in my cars CD player 4 2 weeks, i HATE it. its so boaring and i nearly fall asleep behind the wheel when its on. doesnt have 1 good song on it.

Everytime i listen to this album i really want to put my head down and sleep. Every song sounds the same and considering Katie can sing it is a real disapointment.

The voice is still there, so is the overall quality but this album boast few stand out tracks that you will remember.
Being a great fan of Piece by Piece I found this a slight disappointment although it does improve towards the end, I found the selection of tracks didn't flow.
Different, unusual, and some quality just not as good as her previous work.

EDIT After more listens it has definetly grown on me, my conclusion is it is not as striking as previous work, but is a much better album than I previously wrote, the songs without a doubt grow on you.

I Think Pictures is Great, different from the other 2 Albums, but Great!!!!!!! Cannot wait untill the next one.
What a wonderful Voice.!!

I was so looking forward to buying this c.d because i am a huge fan of Katie and her music but unfortunately (and i am gutted) that i do not like it as much as the first two. A couple of the songs are not very good - spellbound and scary films which is such a shame because katie wrote Spellbound herself and yet all the other songs she has wrote have been brilliant - i just feel on this album shes lost some of her originality and that spark but on the postive side what i miss about you, sailboat, perfect circle and in my secret life are fantastic - i feel like i'm being harsh because i really wanted to like it but it just didn't have the same effect on me as the first two albums

Just when I thought it couldn't get better, it has. Its good to have the previous albums too but I really like the more up tempo tunes on this album. If you like Katie's music then this album will be another that will not fail expectations. I have really enjoyed it and can't wait to keep playing it and hopefully seeing Katie live again.
