'Falling Off The Lavender Bridge' is the critically acclaimed debut album from Lightspeed Champion aka Dev Hynes formally of eclectic indie outfit Test Icicles. This collection of acoustic pop ballads was produced by Mike Mogis of record label Saddle Creek and is a world away from Hynes' former projects, showcasing a calmer sound with definite instrumental and lyric influences lifted from Mogis' band mate Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes). Strong influences also apparent throughout this record vary from artists as diverse as Patrick Wolf to Weezer. This album is a very well rounded piece of work to be listened to over and over again, a debut album that should be present in everyone's CD collection.
An beautiful album with brilliant lyrics!

I love this album, it's so fresh and pure! The ylrics are really inspiring, and feel really personal but so much that most of us can relate to it! Overall, a beautiful album! Those who like indie, but still want something different should get this!
