listen to pavarotti, cortes, or mario lanza to name but a few, then compare.
he just isn't there.

Paul Potts, what can I say? Simply stunning album. Granted, he isn't as good as Pavarotti and no-one ever will, but Paul Potts is a star!! Caruso and Music of the Night were superb. Never heard of Amapolo before but it was brilliant. He won the public over, and now he is a world figure. His story touched people, including myself and his album is remarkable! Please make a new one Paul!!

What a humble and talented human being this guy is in a world filled with techno freaks! Paul Potts, to some narrow minded individuals,may not be in the same league as Pavaroti,Mario Lanza etc. Give him time and he will be. I am not an ardent opera fan myself, but there is a pure entertainment pleasure that is obtained by how this guy sings. Two million sales around the world in 15 countries from his first album speaks volumes in my books. It is worth a purchase and see for yourself. Meanwhile those critics of this album can talk to the hand as the face ain't listenin'.
