love this album,, cant stop playig it, cant wait for the new one

Like a lot of bands these days, this debut album from Hadouken!swings between excellence and mediocrity. While there are some really fantastic tracks on here, there are some real limp offerings that have you reaching for the skip button, "Mister Misfortune" being particulary bad. BIG MISTAKE from the label/band by leaving off "Leap Of Faith" also, as it's their best track to date.

Still, it's worth getting hold of for the other singles (if you haven't already got them that is) and has anyone else noticed that the start of "Get Smashed Gate Crash" rips off the start of the Casualty theme tune??? Bizarre.

I Got This From Play.com This Morning An Since I Put It In My Cd Player I Aint Been Able To Stop Listenin To It. Every Song Is Absolutely AMAZING!!! And You Can Really Connect With The Lyrics Like Its Everyday Life Sorta Thing. I Cant Wait To Hear More From Then This Album Is Class! Definitely Recommend It! AMAZINGGGGG!!! when i first heard them i thought they were great
but now they're even better and they'r album is awesome!
and i went to see them live and they sound exactly the same as the songs on the album do, im only sayin that because some people sound rubbish live tho.

The grindie/nu rave scene was blown away with this album. Even though its electro/indie it (unlike much of its oppisition) had really good lyrics. Love it. Check out their tunes on myspace. Dont knock it until youve tried it.....But its Outstandingly awsome.

like i said in the title..it really does grow on you and even if you don't like it at the start you will by the end..a great record and i usually listen to stuff like slipknot, stone sour, lamb of god..bullet for my valentine, machine head and all that i still loved this album!

Let's be honest, this album is excellent, but at just over half an hour it's far too short, especially given that half their remix tunes are nowhere to be seen (And the Mix tape has been unceremoniously pulled from sale, not even listed on play.com anymore).

Lyrically this is great fun and quite a good little commentary too with 'Spend your life'. ("isn't it funny how people live a life of debt / to one person, that they have never met")

Again, like I have mentioned in other reviews, these guys are nothing like the Klaxons, and quite why they are even being compared is beyond me, it's like saying "Madonna's new album Hard Candy is not like The Beatles White Album and therefore I don't like it."

Anyway, if you like Tinchy Stryder, and other Grime, you'll probably like this. That said, if you like Crystal Castles and other contemporary Electro/Thrash acts you'll like this too.

It's a good fun album which most people can relate to with topics like MySpace and Indie boys in clubs who are too cool to dance.

I for one will play this album loud out my window and earn myself my first ASBO.

Brilliant album, songs from when Hadouken! used to be all grime and their new style of music that theve been trying recently. Overall every song is a great listen!

This album is the best thing I've bought in a long time. Amazing energy, great lyrics and it's just awesome.

I'm in the Aerials club and the freebies are set to be great. I got a tshirt, the album 10 days early, some remixes and should be getting all B-sides for the next year for free.

Great stuff and I can't wait to see them live at some point!
