these guys are so good they could take over the world and this album is no different to thier older ones in terms of quality every song is different but there are some real gems on here and I like the way most of the songs on this album revolve slow acoustic guitar beginnings then get into rocky stadium filled anthems! and also some beautiful songs for example the song home just awesome love it guys keep it up!

     Brilliant!!!11111

Well i was really looking forward to the new foo fighters album after loving in your honor i was hoping on a repeat and i was wrong it was even better it just has so much more quality in the songs just take for example the marvelous song "stranger things have happened" it's beautiful thats the only word i can describe and is just suited in the album as an acoustic song. Not too mention the fantastic the pretender. Any foo fighter fan will have waitied so long to get this and loved every minute of it. And any newcomer will fall in love with it it has everything mellow songs and mental songs. This album has such a variety of songs with unique styles. They just keep getting better.

     Brillant!!!!!!!!!!!!!

     Nearly a 5 star album

This one one of my best buys of 2007, and as a huge Foo Fighters fan, my anticipation was matched by the albums quality. 'The Pretender', 'Cheer Up Boys', 'Long Road To Ruin', 'But Honestly' and 'Stranger Things Have Happened' are in my opinion 5 Star tracks.

Yet, I believe on one or two tracks, the Foo's strayed too far from what they know, especially with the song 'Home', which was far too mellow for my liking (and I liked In Your Honour Disc 2 and Skin and Bones).

However, as I said, this is almost a 5 Star album, and it still some of the Foo's best work

     Bläh..

I want ten rockers and three ballads/calmer pieces (at most), not the other way around as is the case on this album. Guess the boys are getting old & tired or something. I´ve been listening to Foo Fightes since their debut came out back in '95, and I think this is their weakest effort yet, by far.

Judging by this album alone, I'd be hard pressed to even classify Foo Fightes as a rock band.

    Disappointing!

     Just Plain Awesome

This album is absolutely pheonominal, and although you would expect that from an avid foo fighters fan i totally and utterly mean it. People who dont tend to like this album simply do not LISTEN to the album, i myself after a first couple of listens thought it was below par but after that...well i feel ashamed for ever doubting the Foo's. The pretender is epic but its not the best song...stranger things have happened is quite clearly the most astonishing piece of song writing by the foo fighters ever. but listen to it, trust me. Then but honestly, let it die, come alive, and even summers end a brilliant songs and just show how much the foo fighters have come along in leaps and bounds since there self titled debut, and the maturity of the album far surpaces anything ive heard in a long time. Just buy the album and you will see but please give it a chance and you will never forget it, from the emotionally driven Home to the never forgiving The Pretender. This Album Is Amazing

Well here we are in 2008, And the biggest rock band in the world are th Foo Fighters, 2 Sold Out nights at Wembley Stadium and a Million fans up there sleeve, What's to thank? In My opinion this album with a compination of In Your Honor, This has some of the best songs Foo's have ever done, I mean you only need to turn on the Radio to hear the Beast 'The Pretender' and see how good they have become with age.But What's more refreshing than this modern Foo Fighters Rock album is the Inclusion of songs like 'But,Honestly' and 'Come Alive' but still has the Tremendous riffs of 'Let It Die' and 'Erase/Replace'. Basically if your ready for some fresh sounds to Foo fighters, With the Experiance of there older albums, Then this is definatly for you.

Well, after hearing The Pretender I was really looking forward to the new album. The Pretender is a very good song! However, they seem to have released the best song as the first single. I have listened to the album twice through now and nothing grabs me, one track which is good is track 4: Long Road to Ruin. I am quite disappointed really. The album is OK, and compared to other stuff in the charts in the UK charts, it is good. But, for Foo's, not their best! If you buy it, don't expect amazing things from it! Oh well!
