Brilliant, bass-driven pop. Rich and indeed strange.

If you like weird pop songs strung together with a shoehorned storyline, buy this album right now, this minute. Timeless, fantastic songs with eclectic inspirations but such a consistent brilliance. This took me right back to my first student gig at Huddersfield Poly, 25th October 1988. What a night! The live extra track (Strange Kind Of Love) shows what Cud could do live, and it was awesome. The sound is fantastic and William Potter's dancing on the bass was inpired. This is big and it is clever.
