Even if it's not that original is still sounds awesome, the band is amazing live too, saw them last night supporting Megadeth. This is a modern thrash band that we can enjoy and go see live, get the album you'll enjoy it :)
Great Band

Who cares if its been done before, no ones doing it now, metallica stoped being thrash in the 90s and although slayer have stayed very much as they were, its still nice to have some more choice. i will also admit taht a few of the riffs do sound very like things i've ehard before, but i'd still say they're a good band and worth buying if your into 80s thrash, personally i think they're better than slayer, but i'm not a huge slayer fan.

Evile are a thrash metal band from Huddersfield, England. I got the chance to see them a few months back and i was blown away. Being from Huddersfield myself it's great to see a band from my area that has a full record deal and an album out there. This is truly thrash metal at its best, definitely worth checking out, if you are into Slayer especially, but also bands such as Anthrax and classic Metallica you'll love this album. Top notch.
Heard this 15 years ago done allot better...

So if you missed thrash the first time around it's cool to have a band like this around today, someone of your time you can go and see, mosh and stage dive to.
That doesn't stop this being a completely derivative, unoriginal, thrash by numbers experience. Simply put this lot wouldn't have even got a record deal back in the heyday of thrash, don't get me wrong there is some impressive musicianship on display here and a ballsy production gives it some punch.
Ultimately though it just sounds like a really poor thrash tribute band with a dodgy vocalist and a bunch of riffs you've heard so many times before played by so many bands before so many years before.
E is for effort and the only effort that seems to have been put into making this record was listening to allot of old thrash albums, cataloguing the riffs and putting them back together in a different order with some half baked dumb lyrics.
Evile? Drop the first "E" and you've got it just about right.
Thrash is definately back

Considering Metallica havent released anything decent for a good 10 years, and that thrash metal has been declined in the media for a while, Evile have quite literally created arguably one of the best thrash metal albums in years. Enter the Grave start to finish is an epic CD with everything you expect from a thrash record plus a whole lot more. This CD alone gives one confidence that thrash is DEFINATELY NOT DEAD and that very soon Evile are going to be taking you by storm, Enter the Grave is outstanding, it's an awsome display of high energy, aggressive thrash that is bound to be a classic, Earache have done a good job signing this band and they are destined to go far. This is a must have. BUY IT NOW!
