Good keepsake of the opening ceremony. Loads of variety in the music styles which is what makes the British music industry so great.
Lose one star as there are no Sex Pistols or Led Zeppelin, also U2 are Irish not British!!!

 Fantastic Show, Disappointing CD

I bought this following the fantastic Opening Ceremony, but frankly, this is very disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I love whats on the CD, but it's whats not on the there that I'm disappointed about.

The first cd has the music from the main show, and what is there is brilliant, but there is so much missing. Where's the music that accompanied the 2 short films (Isles of Wonder and Hope and Glory)? Where's the Bond Theme? The whole music section of the show is represented by just Dizzee Rascal and A R Rahman.

The second CD is taken up with the music that accompanied the Athletes parade. I can't speak for everyone, but to be honest I wasn't listening to it anyway! I wanted the Sex Pistols, Queen, Beatles etc. This could have been so much better.
