James Blunt deserves his success all the lost souls is a phenomenal album.
Same mistake is truly masterful, and carry you home is perfect, albums should always be like this. Sit in a quiet room put on tour headphones and enjoy perfection.

As expected great album. I've not had a chance to listen to it properly yet, to pick out my favourites.

There is no 5.1 as already listed :-( . However to clarify the PCM Stereo is encoded at 96Khz and 24-Bit (instead of CDs 44.1Khz and 16-Bit) so while it is superior to the CD it isn't 5.1.

I'd have preferred a DD5.1 or DTS remix. Especially as few people can play audio at 96Khz anyway (for most it will be downsampled to 48Khz), as they've limited the target audience so much they may as well have gone the whole hog and encoded it in either DVD-Audio or Super Audio CD.

That would've been really sweet!

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Great Return for James! But no Digital Sound 5.1

An excellent Album and a great return for James Blunt. I enjoyed it from the first to the last track. The only disappointment has been the 5.1 sound. I bought this edition to enjoy this disc on my dvd player, but, alas, no 5.1 sound!! Just PCM Stereo. What should I do now with a Booklet and mp3 versions of the same CD tracks? Ok, there are 2 short video bonus and the 1973 videoclip, but why is there no 5.1?
