CD
- Classical singers Blake are the first group ever to be signed having formed on Facebook. Ex-choristers Dom, Jules, Steve and Olly shared a love of singing, and a few mutual friends, and as a result met on a social networking phenomenon Facebook. Before long they'd formed a classical group that they knew could be bigger than Il Divo. Their self-titled album features well-known and loved classics such as 'Moon River', 'God Only Knows' (The Beach Boys), 'I'll Make Love to You' (performed in Spanish), 'Hallelujah' (Jeff Buckley) and their track 'Swing Low' has become the official anthem of the Rugby World Cup this year. Having already taken the nation by storm with unique forming, their incredible charm and good looks will be sure to win over hearts this Christmas

I'm a huge fan of beauitful male voices singing harmony, I loved G4 and Il Divo, but the music by Blake moves me in a totally new and exciting way. Not only can these boys sing with huge classical voices (as seen in their Gladiator inspired "In Paradisum" track and the "Vide Cor Meum" piece from the film Hannibal) but they also have tender voices which they use in wonderful pop arrangements of the Beach Boys and Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah.
I've listened to nearly all their album online, but also they have been playing it a huge amount on Classic FM, where it was record of the week. I've seen these guys sing in perfect 4 part harmony, without any backing, on live TV. So impressive in a world where so many artists mime.
If you want an album that will move you and take you on a journey through lots of musical styles, I'm sure you will enjoy this as much as me. I can't wait till the next album.
