A lot different to the previous albums, Lead Sails Paper Anchor focuses more on melody than on screaming- doesn't mean it isn't any good though!
In my opinion, Becoming The Bull is the most outstanding track on the album, while Falling Down does just that- doesn't quite deliver.
Whilst their recordings may have gone all Avenged Sevenfold-ish, their live performances are still tip-top ((I saw them on 20th October, 2008)) and yeah, he really DOES scream like that!
Great release, and big step up from Atreyu

First off, improvements: Amazing lead guiatr, brilliant solo's, great melodic singing and shouting, and much better and more complex lyrics.
atreyu are a great band, and this is a really good album from them, it has interesting lyrics, memorable songs and really good vocals. It's definately a step up from their previous albums. The really good thing is that Bradon Saller, the drummer provides fantastic melodic singing for this album.
a really good metal album, look out for; doomsday, slow burn and Honor

A bold step by Atreyu, dropping Alex's screaming is a risky move that will have old school atreyu fans disappointed! There are some great songs on here like 'Doomsday', 'Becoming The Bull' and 'Lose It'. I think the release and success of 'Exs and Ohs' and 'The Theft' are what brought about this change. A good album, just not atreyu
