I got this yesterday and have been addicted since.

Its such a fresh upbeat album i recommend it highly!

i was never a fan of moloko with only the time is now and massive hit sing it back getting my attention.however this album is a gem with roisins brilliant voice shining through on very catchy dance/pop tunes.let me know,you know me better,moviestar,dear miami are all fab, but its the title track,overpowered which is the standout,it has a real after hours dream like feel you could imagine listening to it in the wee small hours driving through the city.very atmospheric and very cool.lets hope it gets the audience it deserves.

I got a single for Overpowered a few months back to review and was very impressed. The track is truly original and has a fresh and sort of upbeat sound.
Ofcourse my rating is based on the Overpowered song which I liked, I haven't heard the rest of the album.
Nevertheless I wouldn't want ot give this talented girl a miss.
Good dance music at last.

Is "Overpowered" one of the best albums of 2007, if not THE best?

It's definitely Roisin's best production yet. In the early days when Moloko were around, their dance tracks were very popular in clubs throughout the country, and put other dance artists to shame.

Now, she has arisen as what? An upcoming queen of pop? Could this be the start of something huge for Ms Murphy?

I would recommend this album to both dance and pop fans. Especially those who have an eclectic taste in music.

Much better than her debut solo album and one of the best albums of 2007
