this is an absolutely brilliant album. i've lost count of the number of times i've listened to it. title song is one of my favourites, with heavyweight champion of the world coming a very close second.

I had heard a couple of numbers from the album so I decided to buy it and what an album it is. Every single song on the album you can sing along to and believe me, you will want to. The lyrics are a true reflection on the current state that this country is in.

Best songs: 1,3,4,5,7,8,9&11.

If you like indie then you would be a fool not to buy this album.

Reverend and the Makers. My current favourite!

After only hearing one song on TV I bought the CD as it was cheap on Play.com. What a surprise. Loved every song I think. Enjoyed the lyrics. Thought they were quite witty. Songs you can really sing along to!! Sex with the Ex my favourite - on my brain at the mo.

 Awesometastic!

Wow what a find! Not only are there some catchy little numbers here, but the whole album oozes quality. From the brilliant opening 'The State Of Things' you know you've got an album on your hands that won't be leaving them.
Ok some of the lyrics are a bit iffy 'What of the woman who waits with the feeling
Of black holes and lost nights and strange looking ceilings', but hey, what songs aren't nowadays.
Highlights of the album are tracks 1,2,3,7,8,9.
Raise a glass.. to the reverend!

 Quality Album :P
