Manchester based Oceansize are the most underrated band in the UK right now, and how they haven't made the big time fathoms anybody who has listened to their previous efforts or seen them live. This album picks up from where the last left off, and although hard to believe, surpasses the excellence of previous releases.
Simply a must for anybody that likes alternative styled music.
A stunning album... imagine Mogwai, Biffy Clyro, Explosions in the Sky, (early) Verve... kinda post-prog death indie!!! but heavier than you'd think... and more complex... yet with many moments of real beauty. Massive soundscapes are created... and then discarded... and then built up again... the album is best heard from start to finish in one sitting, and once you've listened a few times... you're hooked, there's no escape. The most underrated band in England at the moment... they are deserving of your ears. Buy it!
