These are a pathetic mob and have pathetic songs. They are a bunch of immature boys full of adolescent dreams. I can't stand listening to any of their repetitive drivel.

 Fantastic first Album

I've awarded this five stars, All the songs on here make you want to dance and make you feel good. I wish I was James Bond, She's So Lovely, The Airplane Song, Elvis Ain't Dead are a few excellent tracks on the album. Roy's vocal and keyboard skills are really good and the band work well together on this. This is a really really good buy and their second album would need to be soemthing damn amazing to top this....

one of the best new bands the world has quite possible seen!

Yeah so what the lyrics and songs might sound the same sometime but that doesn't stop them from being an awesome band whenever you're feeling down just play or listen to some of the songs on this cd and i guarantee you will feel cheered up in no time. Looking forward to hearing more from this band in the future they are outstanding! Also hope they are around for a long time to come!

My favourite album of 2008, fantastic for driving and some hilarious lyrics, never fails to cheer me up! Can't wait for the next album!!!

 Love this album.

Okay, I can see where people are coming from when they say it's repetative lyric wise... but that's why they're catchy! It's a winner (chart wise) when you can hear a song once and feel like you know it and joe public can sing along. Very clever.

I'm not having any problems telling one song from the next, yes they are all in a similar style, but again, that's why I like it! I hate to buy an album on the strength of a couple of singles and find the rest of the album is in a completely different style and generally quite poor.

I love every song on this (and the Michaela Strachen song was great. Really made me laugh.)

I also like it when you can hear the singers accents. It's boring if every singer/band sound American! Now THAT'S repetative!

I refer you to track 1.

Why does everyone like these guys? The first song may have been catchy, but it is basically the same song over and over. just with different words. Heartbeat, elvis, lovely, all the same, its really boring. i think the singer has a good voice and all but thats it. Defo a miss.

 Pretty decent

Before listening to this album, my view had been coloured by other people's comments on its repetitiveness and inward similarity. I admit, I can see where they are coming from. 'She's So Lovely', 'It's Not About You', 'Heartbeat' and 'Elvis Ain't Dead' are similar in sound and rhythm, but I can still say it's a good album. Though these tracks are similar, they are not 'the same' as some people say. The only song that can truly be accused of this in my opinion is 'It's Not About You', but one song off an album isn't too bad. As a whole, it's bouncy and enjoyable, even if their grammar and lyrics in songs like 'James Bond' and bonus track 'Michaela Strachen' are quite cringeworthy. Best track: 'The Airplane Song'. Looking forward to the next album from this nice little pop band.

Samey... but in a good way!

I don't get the argument that the singles all sound the same? For a start its quite easy to tell them apart but in addition I have bought albums in the past where artists have tried to do something different with each of the songs. Its turned out that the ones they released as singles have been the only ones I've been interested in.

Scouting for Girls have released this album and yes, a lot of the songs are done in the same style. To be honest I didn't find this is to be a bad thing. The singles that they have released are overplayed for a reason, they are brilliant songs. If I'd bought this album and half of the songs on it were completely different to the style of their singles then I would have been a little disappointed.

As it happens the album is easy to listen to from start to finish. If you bought this album and were already fed up with the 'overplayed singles' then perhaps you made the wrong album choice.
I however, love this album and enjoy this for what it is... Scouting for Girls doing what they do best!

Is it just me or do all there songs that they hve released into the charts soun the same and there getting millions for them, it's riddiulous.

Ok, they have the potential to be an excellent band but for god sake just give us a new beat it gets on my nerves. I thinm elvis aint dead is the best tune that they have done as it is the one that sounds the most different but it still sounds the same quite a bit.

I just hope that there next album is a bit more unique!
