This album is some of the most abrasive, raw but beautiful classical metal I've ever heard. I'm a relatively new listener to the band but having heard this album, I've totally fallen in love. The album manages to be as heavy as it's guitar laden peers while always retaining a fragile classical beauty to it. The songs featuring guest vocalists from bands such as Slipknot/Stone Sour, Lacuna Coil, Rammstein and Three Days Grace are all deeply haunting, occasionally dealing with sensitive subjects such as child abuse [I'm Not Jesus] and domestic violence [S.O.S]. But the album is at it's best when it's purely instrumental. My personal highlight is Last Hope, a heavy, intricate track which is just a testament to how incredible these guys are.

The album is definitely worth getting hold of for anyone into their gothic/classical metal.
