Okay, so this is the follow up to We Don't Need To Whisper, which was an outstanding album, so this has a lot to live up to. This is a different sound to the first, it's a lot less 'spacey', but that's not a bad thing. The effects in this again are brilliant, but the thing i love most about this album, is the lyrics. Their just so uplifting and inspirational. The opener, call to arms, is an awesome song to set you yp, fast and energetic and sirens is amazing, one of the best tunes around and then rite os spring is a lovely insider into what Tom's life was like before the epic, and I mean epic heaven. Awesome, awesome CD
Simply Breath-taking.

This has got to be the best Angels and Airwaves album so far with the singles Everythings Magic and Secret Crowd making this album so utterly brilliant. Would recommend to any fan of Blink-182.
From Blink to AVA, This album is brilliant

Since the days of Blink 182, Delonge would be the last person you would expect to grow up, but he has......Somehow.
Now anyone lookin for a follow up to blink's split should take a look at +44. Instead this is a u2 style rock which is much more creative and more enjoyable to listen to. The crude lyrics from blink 182 have vanished and you are left with breathtaking verses and heartfelt corus'. My favorite song would have to be Secret Crowds as Delonge delivers a great vocal perfrmance as well as brilliant verses backed by an elegant guitar riff. Anyone who likes Tommy Delonge will love this.

A truly excellent album. I bought We Don't Need To Whisper after hearing The Adventure and listened to it for weeks. I-Empire surpasses it however - every song is well-crafted, melodic and uplifting. Critics should move on from the (admittedly exceptional) Blink 182 legacy and acknowledge the strength of Tom Delonge's new material (even if he is a little vocal in his lofty opinion of A&A). Highly recommended.
