What a fantastic album. Really bluesy and soulful at the same time. Top value with the 2nd disc a dvd of the great man in action. Can't believe this has been out since 2006, shout John Mayer from the rooftops. If you've seen The Bucket List movie, our man sings the final track "Say" Check it out its tops
What can I say other than .......................mmmmmmmmmmmayerlicious! Lush! Amazing! Heartbreaking!Soulful!This is album is soul food of the highest order...Mayer gets better and better with each album and the live dvd is extra testament to what a talented and charismatic musician Mayer is.I cannot wait to see him live. Finally... a brilliant guitarist with a brilliant voice. Each track is beautifully arranged with great vocals and guitar riffs that are truly mesmerising.
The amazing thing is that John Mayer has been able to take simple uncomplicated melodies and turn them into addictive sounds.
I can fill a whole page on why this album is so great, but to put it simply...if you haven't got this album then you are missing out!!
I cannot praise this album enough, in a hark back to the great blues albums of Clapton & BB King, this is a classic of our time...
