the music produced by this band is SO worth waiting for. I have honestly never been so drawn in by a single album. Usually you get a favourite song, and a poor song..but this album.. WOW. Every track is hard-hitting, full of harmonies and instruments, the lyrics and the soprano is just amazing. if you're looking for a different sound, but one that still hits all the right spots, then Elliot Minor is for you.
pure genius

This album is totally worth the long over a year ait i had to wait, every song is perfect. Sometimes i wonder what they will do next and what amazing song will be written and devised next. The live shows are well worth seeing, go see one near you, you won't be dissapointed! Alex writes some beautiful songs, such as on this album, silently and the liar is you. With Ed, teddy, Ali and Dan this band will go so far and have shown that decent music can enter the charts! well done guys!
More ike Major!

This album is wicked, but i don't understand some of the words they are saying because they either say it too quick or too quietly, and that is annoying. Overall though, a great effort, worth a listen.
A New Revolution of Rock Music and a Must Have!

Seriously, the unique mix of rock and classical sounds absolutely immense and has to be heard to be believed. Every track on the album sounds fantastic and masterpieces like "Parallel Worlds", "Jessica" and "Still Figuring Out" will be stuck in your head all day and you'll have em on repeat for hours.
I cannot stress enough how great this album is, expect this band to become huge!
It was mentioned in one of the other reviews here that the vocals sound a bit like McFly, and after reading that, actually they do. But it's not a bad thing!
woohoo

What an awesome debut album. These guys are going to do really well in the future.
All the songs are fantastic but a few really stand out; such as Parallel Worlds, Jessica, Lucky Star.
They mix rock style songs with 'classical' music in the background which in my opinion, sounds absolutely perfect!
Buy it now, your missing out if you don't!
Okay

The album's quite good I must admit, though it always reminds me of McFly which is a bit of a shame really. Apart from that though there's some excellent songs. Catchy lyrics.
Great Debut Release!

This album is phenomenal, from start to finish, every track is a real treat, my personal favorites are Last Call to New York City and The Broken Minor.
The Broken Minor because It is has slightly different style to the it than the rest of the tracks.
And Last Call to New York City because it emotion, fantastic lyrics, really something you want to turn up really loud and just shout the vocals.
I recommend you go on 7-Digital and buy the bands interview and track by track description, worth listening to.
One problem I found and this is just my opinion, the one thing that lets the album down for me, is that I've heard all the songs before, if you have been a fan for as long as i have you may understand. I would enjoy album twice as much if i had never heard their previous demos.
And it is quite a small album with 4 of the singles already been releases. I mean I much prefer the new songs and i was looking forward to how they have changed the old demo's and what they have done is fantastic.
But really the main point is, I've been listening to this album non stop since its releases and i know its horrible to say, i getting kind of bored with it. It's not that the song s are boring its just i have heard these songs so many times before.
I was grasping to thought that there would be some new songs i had never heard before on there, so now I am checking every day for some new songs or any news about a second album, because i have exhausted this one.
I think for new fans this album is a real treat. And I love this album so much, just need to find some new songs to occupy myself till the second album.
All in all, fantastic album, go buy it. Really good debut. Fantastic guys, talk to them on myspace before, great live performance. The future looks good for Elliot Minor!

An absolutely amazing debut album. Every single song is brilliant and goes out to people's hearts. Last Call To New York City has to be the best song.
