Having been a huge fan of Helloween from day one, and doing my usual ritual thing of waiting with bated breath in anticipation as i have done with every new Album that Helloween have released, the countdown to this latest release "Gambling With The Devil" could not have gone any slower but it was well worth every second of the wait.
Opening with a short narrated intro by Biff of Saxon (God!!) the Album kicks off like a bolt of lightening with second track "Kill It", and when these guys scream "Kill It" you can sincerely believe that they really do mean it, the Album rocks on from track to track housing all the hallmarked Helloween sounds along with the usual immaculate crisp production.

Helloween have been around for many more years than a lot of people could ever care to remember, it annoys the life out of me when i read comments that compare the Band to being just another Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Accept or Running Wild etc or that the Bands influences stem from those great Bands mentioned above, the truth of the matter is that Helloween at some point have played a major and massive role in influencing every single one of those great Bands mentioned above and if comparisons are to be made then the likes of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Accept and Running Wild etc (All of who i absolutely adore) owe a great deal of their fame and fortune to the Helloween Hard Rock/Heavy Metal sound and style.
A while ago i made a comment in another review which i stated that the new Emigrate Album was my Album of the year and that i could see nothing or anything coming remotely close to surpassing its brilliance, well i spoke a little too soon as this new Helloween album "Gambling With The Devil" is way beyond brilliant and should sit proudly at the helm of every Hard Rock/Heavy Metal CD collection for a long-long time to come.

Do not hesitate to grab a copy of this masterful slab of Hard Rock/ Heavy Metal at its very finest.... 10/10
