If you're a fan of Pulp, Killers and The Strokes then you'll love this debut album from London newcomers Spector. I first saw this band on Jools Holland late last year and thought these guys would be special.
Well I wasn't wrong as the album is very good, but not perfect. A couple of the tracks seem like B-side material. But all in all this is a promising start and they should, if given the chance, smash it on the follow up.
The singles Chevy Thunder and Celestine have been A listed on Radio 1 and are included.
