From listening to all three of the previous Nightlife releases over and over, I was expecting alot for the next iteration in the series.

My expectations were not entirely fulfilled, however. Not to say that this mix is bad - it's certainly not, I just felt it was quite boring with only a few standout tracks. Whereas with Nightlife 1, 2 and 3 I love and never really get bored of, this got pretty tedious on first listen. It's difficult to explain, but it's lacking that 'Nightlife' feel. There's just something missing, my first guess would simply be lack of variation. The tracks are all brand spanking new (most are unreleased), which is fine.. but all the tracks seemed to be chosen just
_because_ they're the freshest tracks, not because of their musical quality or content. Saying that, there are several great new tunes on this mix in between the filler.

On a plus note, the mixing by Andy C, as always, is immaculate. It flows perfectly.

A far better recent release I feel is 'Watch The Ride' by High Contrast.

Whether your a dnb lover or just getttg into the drum n bass scene, i recommend that you buy this...it is a MUST! The previous nightlifes have all been great and the almighty Andy C NEVER dissapoints. Easily the best nightlife in my opinion, some great tunes on there. Go get it!

If you love your DnB then this is a must. There are a few tracks on here that will blow your mind, namely those by Sub Focus, C&S, and Hazard. Mixed to Andy C perfection. What are you waiting for?

The previous 3 'Nightlife' volumes have been incredibly good and always in keeping with the latest and greatest releases.
From the outlook this seems to be following suit.
With awesome songs such as 'Killaz Dont Die' and 'Loud & Dirty', which are already phenomonal hits on the dancefloors, you know this album is full of hard hitting tunes. Even if your new to the D&B scene or a die hard follower GET THIS ALBUM. Its going to be awesome.
