This CD is good when you think about the range of styles it covers. 'Hunting For Witches' is good and so is 'The Prayer'. However, for me 'Flux' is the best. Having said that some songs seem to drift into one another and it ends up sounding a bit samey. Different to the previous album, 'Silent Alarm', so you might want to give this one a go.
Brilliant CD =D (has Flux)

Again, a must have in your cd collection! Defineatley great songs to sing along to and this particular cd has FLUX on it. This album is full of hidden political views and expresses alot of what the band have to say very well. Would have got 5 Stars but lacks epic nessin places. But Still A Brilliant CD **** 4 STARS.
buy this one it has flux on

This album is beautiful, there is a lot more to it than most album's. The album flows like a musical, the songs express the feelings and atmosphere of a weekend, beginning with the buzz of a Friday night and ending with the feeling of a slow Sunday of rest and recovery.
I don't know if I prefer it to Silent Alarm, but it is at least its equal. If you are a fan of music, please buy this. Even my friends who hated Silent Alarm, think that this album is brilliant. So, if you don't like Silent Alarm, still try this, you never know.

I was a bit unsure about getting this because everyone says "it's not as good as silent alarm" which is true but it's still an awesome album. There are songs like 'Hunting For Witches' and 'The Prayer' which are instantly catchy from the first first time you hear them. There's also a great range of styles from the sad, thoughtful tones of 'Where is Home?' to the happier but slower 'I Still Remember' and even the electric sound of 'Flux'. So for only a fiver, you can't really go wrong in buying this fantastic album.
Okay

I was excited about receiving my album, but when it arrived, I was slightly disappointed. Bit dull and boring. However my husband loved it!

Admitadly Bloc party are my favourite band and was excited to hear their new album coming. My first taste of the single was The Prayer which got me even more excited. The album definately didnt dissapoint. However it isnt any Silent Alarm it is full of great drum beats and exciting guitar solos. 10/13 songs realy got me excited but admitadly there are a couple of mundane tunes on. The later introduction of Flux gave you even more reasons to buy thew album even if the video does resenble that of the beastie boys and abit dodgy. A must buy at 5 pounds and if you get the chance go to see them live! Their amazing.
