An eagerly anticipating debut album by the Blood Red Shoes and Box of Secrets does not disappoint!

This albums full of punk-funk-indie attitude from start to finish. Energetic guitar rifts, raw pounding drum beats (the drumming is brilliant throughout), excellent lyrics and wonderful harmonies.

My favorite tracks are Say Something, Say Anything which is mildly reminiscent of Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit with its Highs, Lows and explosive chorus (Yes, it really is that good). And It's Getting Boring By The Sea which is fast, frantic, short and punchy and has a superb catchy vocal harmony.

An absolute delight of an album. This album is an essential Indie-Rock 08 purchase. Highly recommended.

I have seen this band live, supporting Biffy Clyro, and they are flippin' red hot! Again, they are a two-piece set up but for such a small band they make a big sound!
"Lets consider a change of scenery, its gettin' borin' by the sea...". Mint...

this band are incredible. the single 'i wish i was someone better' has the grungiest riff since nirvana. it's catchy post-punky at the same time. they're a duo: female guitarist, male drummer, who both sing. get it!
