The Eagles latest testifies the fact that in 2008 music can still be THAT good! A splendid listening experience... thanx guys!

If your a redneck, eat peanuts, believe everything you read in newspapers and haven't moved any further along since you heard 'Hotel California' in your teens, this album isn't for you. But - if you like great music and lyrics you'll love it. Its the Eagles and they've got something to say.
Worth The Wait

I really wasn't going to buy this album because of the dreadful new studio tracks on Hell Freezes Over. I'm so glad I did - what a terrific return to form. I'm in the minority who thought The Long Run was a good album, but this surpasses it. Some of the Tim Schmit songs are a bit soppy (as per) but he makes a great vocal contribution overall. Otherwise, Walsh, Frey and especially Henley are on fantastic form. The title track is, musically and lyrically, a tour-de-force and possibly the best thing they've ever done. Elsewhere, Fast Company is super-tight and punches above its weight, and Business As Usual is Steely Dan-esque in its sardonic dryness. I don't know if I'll be around in three decades so PLEASE guys - a bit quicker next time!
Fantastic Music :)

Couldn't disagree more with "SlyckTires". This album is one of the best music purchases you can put your money down for.
While I may not know the other Eagle albums inside out, I know 20+ songs pretty well. If you're a fan or just a straight up lover of music, you'll appreciate the class of these guys period.
Definitely one of the best purchases I've made in years :)
Not such a lovely place

What can I say? If your appreciation of the Eagles is based on 'Hotel California' you're probably better off giving this one a miss. I guess I like about half, but I don't really 'love' any of it.
