  Magnificent....x3

A seminal album, an essential to any collection, and the main stream launch of probably the most influential rock band of a generation. Unforgettable Fire did the dirty work and made them a household name but this collection of immense tracks made sure the world took notice and is without doubt one of the top albums of all time. The boxed set is unbelievably good, and even though no longer quite so insanely cheap (!) it is truly worth the investment.

Outstanding value, and a flashback to a band on the brink of world domination.

  Best £8 spent ever

An absolute steal, In my opinion the greatest album ever, with a bonus cd of B sides plus a a live disc! Add the Prints and book ,even if like me you already have the album this is still a bargain and a half!

At £8.99, this is a steal. Ordered it at £7.99 including free delivery and arrived on 2nd Sept 2009. This is arguably one of the best albums ever recorded, filled with epic songs (WOWY, Streets, Still Haven't Found, Exit, Bullet) and released in spring 1987 when I was just about to enter grammar school. Even now the album photography and imagery is iconic and mirrors the vastness of the musical scope that the band were striving for and of course achieved. Will U2 ever be this good again? Very doubtful. Would any band come close to matching this supreme album? Dream on. Buy a highly collectible piece of music history. If aliens came down from space I would play them this album and say come up with better - they wouldn't be able to! Buy at this price, this is worth a lot more.

  Iconic cover and content

This is without doubt the pinnacle of U2s career. When this album was first released in 1987 it launched them to a global audience beyond GB and US and made the band who they are today. If you ever go and see U2 Live the audience will cheer loudest for songs like "Streets" "Still havent found" "With or without you" and if you are really lucky Bullet the Blue Sky which for me is the best track on the album. This box set is a must for all U2 fans

Just received, this item & was very impressed, at what you get, for your money, all of what is packaged above, boxed, quite a lot, which is now, on offer, which I would highly recommend that you purchase NOW, at the bargain price & you will not regret it believe me.

  Good....but....

Great songs, although would have been better if they had included their tracks from Yungnien House's cavendish club sessions. Seems a shame they didnt integrate these into the B-Sides? Still a worthy purchase to any U2 fan....Barrow the chang'a lang and BUY IT!

  unmistakenly (one of) their best

This album is five stars from start till end, there's no bad track to find on it.
It's a rather slow tempo album, with very emotional songs and rather melancholic. But what a sound, music, voice, ....
This is a gold one
