If your a massive Halo fan or just generally like the music to Halo then this is a must have, very well put together, excellent music and sounds, love it to bits, very powerful and has a lot of emotions in it, again, a worth while cd to have. =D

This is a fantastic CD, though unfortunatly the one you get sent isnt actually the CD advertised. The CD you recieve only contains 31 tracks, the smaller one of the two CD's released by Bungie Studios. A second CD was released with grey text at the top of the cover and the main colour is darker than this one!! If not having the full track list doesnt bother you, this is an awesome CD to own, fantastic music by a fantactic composer!! A+

Simply put, Halo wouldn't be half the franchise it is today without it's soundtrack. Making relatively dull moments in the games seem epic, and eventful moments feel out of this world, the quality of Halo's addaptive music is what is missing from so many other ordinary FPS's today.
The soundtracks to Halo and Halo 2 were fantastic, and Halo 3 is no exception. The Halo 3 soundtrack is fully orchestral, using no rock ballads from artists, like in Halo 2. This, however, doesn't matter in the slightest. Containing remixed music from the previous Halo games and completely new scores, the soundtrack never fails to amaze, and never fails to remind you of all those long hours you have spent with the halo games over the last few years.
If Halo 3, truly was the swan song of the Halo games as we know them (I'm not too sure about Halo Wars yet), then this soundtrack is a fitting tribute to a game series I have loved so much ever since I first bought my original Xbox. Buy it now, you won't be disappointed.

The soundtrack to Halo 3 is one of the best pieces of video games music I've heard. In fact, I would go so close to call this "movie-quality" soundtrack. There are several pieces carefully orchestrated and some of my favourites include "Behold a Pale Horse", "Three Gates", "Halo Reborn" and "Finish the Fight".

Highly recommended for its superb quality and of course to bring back memories of playing some of those levels. If only Play.com had a preview feature for albums - you would quite possibly agree that the soundtrack is very decent indeed.

I have already completed halo 3 on legendary and loved every awesome pixel of it. I've already got the previous soundtracks, and by heck, it is he most compelling music i've ever heard. To be honest, if i was told this wasn't a game soundtrack, his would most definitley be highly regarded as a gem of an album.
Just buy it, you'd never go back.
