A stunning mixture of styles. Plant is a wily old fox and Alison Krauss has a stunning voice - mix the 2 and it's a winner from the start. I think, from reading some of the reviews here, this is a step too far from the clichéd Led Zep blues/rawk genre for some. Those with broader tastes will find this a memorable listening experience.
Disappointingly average and samey

Unlike the previous album with the Strange Sensation this release is very lacklustre and is simply one dimensional. Plant excels when pushing boundaries and when exploiting his many musical influences. This is unlike anything that he has ever done before. It's samey, uninventive and disposable. I could imagine it playing in Starbucks and it blending in perfectly with the only rush being that of the caffeine and sugar on offer behind the counter. Please read the letter. Please get back to what you do best. Be inventive somewhere else Mr Plant whether it be with the Strange Sensation or perhaps what your fans truely want push for a new album or two with the exceptional talents of Page, Jones and Bonham. You're better than this, surround yourself with the best. Now that would take balls.

An excellent album and return from Robert Plant. Very relaxing especially Nothin what a track. Brillant album a must to place with your collections. Their voices work so well together what a "couple". Hope you enjoy it too.
