The first I heard of this band was in late 2007 with a track called Balloons, Radio 1 championed this track and it was refreshingly different. It took me a while to find the same appreciation for Cassius however. On finally buying this CD though I am glad to say the other tracks more than live up to the promise of the more commercial forebearers. This is another example of the fantastically original music scene we are blessed with in the UK. Buy this album; you will not be disappointed.
Excellent debut

Although the majority of the album cannot quite reach the heights of 'Balloons' and 'Cassius', it is an album of vast depth, intelligently subtle emotional commentary, and unusual levels of sophistication. Therefore, it holds limitless appeal. Whilst some complain of too much similarity between the songs, looking past the twingly guitar sections can reveal a great deal of unconventional beauty. The Special edition album is a must if you don't own 'Mathletics' and 'Hummer'.
Hello Klaxons second album

A major let down. It sounds exactly like the Klaxons, even the pointless and emotionally void lyrics are similar.
The interesting guitar work and horn arrangements are the only thing worth listening out for.
