There is no doubting the quality of the music contained within, but the shameful nature of its release by EMI should be noted.
If you are a fan and already have all of Radiohead's back catalogue, do not buy this - there's nothing new here, it wont be worth anything as a collectors item and EMI don't deserve any more of your money. This combined with EMI's release this summer of Radiohead's "Greatest" Hits (from the first 6 studio albums anyway) makes it clear why they left...
However, this is a good deal if you want to quickly complete the collection.
5 stars still because, frankly, the music deserves it.
Nice package if you don't have the albums.

No one can question the work, but questions are certainly raised as to EMI's blatant motivation to release this set in the first place. Suddenly it becomes obvious why Radiohead moved away from the label in the first place.

In Rainbows is not included as it is being released on CD soon with a different record label (XL Recordings). This box set is released by EMI who obviously won't be allowed to include the new album. Why complain anyway when you get can get the new album for free legally online!
