Like the film, the first AVP score was considered by many fans to a dissapointing entry to the franchise. It lacked the familar signiture themes for both creatures.
AVP:R reunites us with those much loved themes taking inspiration from the classic scores from Aliens and Predator. Its bombastic and loud, handling the action seenes very well. However it can get a bit noisy on some tracks. All in all this is a much improved score.
