I love "Sweet About Me" at the moment... and although the other songs are good I don't think any of them meet the high standard of this track. It's a good first album and she has a truly super voice and none of the tracks are bad so give it a go if you like this kind of music.
Amaizing first effort

I bought this album purely based on Sweet About Me and the fact that it was produced by Xenomania...
Completely blown away by it. Stand out tracks are Save the Lies, Safer and Sweet About Me. Well worth the £5.99 you will pay on here!

Say what you like about Radio 2, a relative newcomer getting Album of the Week isn't bad going! This girl isn't just a "one-hit wonder", she's got a good collection of songs and I hope she goes far.
Mixed bag....

Sweet About Me is a great song, the rest of the album isn't quite as strong and some of it is a bit poppy for my taste. Fantastic voice though...

I agree with the other reviewers, I took a chance on this as I only knew Gabriella for Sweet About Me but I am very impressed with all the songs.
If I was asked to describe Gabriella's voice I would say it's a mix of Tina Turner, Anastacia, Sandie Shaw and herself.
Awesome voice and great album

In a fair world we should be hearing a lot from her though she'll have to overcome the handicap of no airplay on Radio 1. As usual they couldn't spot a hit if it bit them. Of course as soon as Winehouse releases something we'll hear nothing else.
Awesome

A unique sound and an album demonstrating a wide an varied style. Quirky, enjoyable and a refreshing change.

A truely amazing new talent. First spotted at just 12, still only 16. I first saw Gabriella on Later With Jules Holland last year, where she appeared as the first act to ever appear on the show without having released any material.
i have since seen her live supporting the Sugababes and hope to catch her headling in June.
You will hear her compared to a lot of the other talented females around at the moment. They are quite honestly totaly outclassed by the quality and the range of her singing. a Mega Star about to bath us in her talent, who i am sure will go on to shine brighter and brighter in the future.
I love her song 'Sweet About Me', her voice is definetly refreshing. At first I didn't like the song, then it got stuck in my head and I really warmed to it. I think her voice is a bit like Amy Winehouse's, it is that good.
Highly recommend this fresh and funky debut. Its great that alot of new female artists are sounding brilliant and unique, without the help of computers to enhance their voice.
What an Amazing voice!!

This young girl has an amazing voice. I heard her as she supported the Sugababes in concert. She has a fantastic voice and I bought her CD single 'sweet about me' on it release date. I think this is someone who we will be hearing alot about in the future.
