Comment: ONE NIGHT ONLY Started A Fire (2008 UK 10-track CD album - Produced by the legendary Steve Lilywhite [U2 Morrissey] Started A Fire is a fine blend of classic songwriting and jaunty melodic bounce that will establish One Night Only as the bandof 2008; including the singles You and Me and the epic balls-out indie-rock anthem Just For Tonight)

I have had a listen to this album and i was very impressed, with their own twist on the always broadening category of british indie, One Night Only create a feeling which is difficult to rival!
I read reviews likening then to The Killers, I personally can't see it, because one thing about this band I like is their originality.
It's hard to find a band these days whose album track aren't all very similar... buy this album and you will have found it!
They can also put on a very good live show. I saw them support Pigeon Detectives and I was wowed by their energy and obviously the music.

 Way Beyond Expectations

I brought this album on the back of the single 'just for tonight' and because a friend told me it was good. To tell the truth i wasn't expecting much more than one or two good tracks, i was pleasently surprised. After listening to the album just once i preaty much enjoyed every song, each one have it own. If you liked the single, this albm is a must as there is only better to come.

A but of killer, but too much filler

Bought this on the back of tracks You and Me and Just for Tonight - great tunes.

There are one or two or three which do match up to this, but unfortunately the rest does not.

A good band, but I think 50% of the album does not reflect on the rest.

UURrrrmmmm! does anyone get that sickly feeling......

sickly feeling as in we're going round in circles, i'd liken them to razorlight. i think peeps are starting to run out of original ideas. i don't think its because the music or the bands sound the same, i think it could be the lead singers. they all struggled to get their own sound and maybe decided that was the one everyone was gonna use. maybe i'm wrong but all these latest 'indie' bands seem to make you think "NEXT"............
