Juno: Original Soundtrack

This soundtrack is a collection of beautiful moments of musical narrative. Kimya Dawson's intimate and endearing vocals paired with her witty lyrics capture the movie's tone as a whole.
The enclusion of Micheal Cera and Ellen Page's heartwarming rendition of The Moldy Peaches' "Anyone Else But You" is a genuine treat.
Emotive from beginning to end.

I watched the film today at a preview screening held by Orange. I'd already been sent the soundtrack from a friend in the states. It is SO amazing. Really good. I plan to listen to more music from each of the bands.
To me this soundtrack is very much like "Trainspotting" - as in one of the best soundtracks I can ever remember.

Go see the film!

There are a couple of good songs on here, but they are mainly just the older ones- Mott the Hoople, Velvet Underground, Sonic youth and then Belle and Sebastian. The rest is just awful, and almost ruined the film. It may seem to fit the film, but it doesn't change the fact that as an album, it is woefully poor. I haven't written a review here before, but this is so bad, I felt I had to warn people.

Itisn't endearing/kooky/innovative, it's just BAD.

This is not really my kind of music that I would listen to typically but I absolutely love it. When I have a stressful day at work, I select this album on my ipod and it chills me right out.

Fantastic album. Fantastic Film

It wasn't until very recently i got round to seeing this movie (for shame i know, best film i've saw in years)
Straight away from the very outset the soundtrack had me intrested, i've been a fan of The Moldy Peaches and Kimya's solo work for a while so there was lots here to keep me intrested, thats not to say there's nothing here for anyone else. Great bands ranging from Mott the Hoople, The Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, Belle and Sebastian, Buddy Holly and a surprisingly sweet version of Anyone Else But You by the 2 lead actors Michael Cera and Ellen Pageround up a great feel good soundtrack to a great feel good Movie.
