I must say my Hot chip experience went as far as 'over and over' but my cousin played me 'Wrestlers' and 'ready for the floor' and I was very intrigued.

I bought the album and was not dissapointed, it is very versatile with a mixture of styles and tempos, etc which add up to make a well worthy purchase, especially if your in to Indie, electro, techno and music that doesn't take itself too seriously

i bought this album after hearing ready for the floor on the radio and i loved it, however this album is a disappointment and only has a few songs on it worth listening to.

Even if you don't like a bit of electro, this is brilliant! I can't stop listening to it! 'Ready for the Floor' is awesome,
absolutely awesome, you just can't get over it!!!!

A good solid album. I prefer the poppy tracks like Out at the Pictures and Ready for the Floor over the ballads such as the title track Made in the Dark. The album suffers from having a mish mash of styles that would work well as singles, but do not flow well in the context of an album. Overall good, but not excellent.

just got this album and cant stop listening to it, pure quality.

I picked this up on the strength of the single Ready For The Floor. Hadn't listened to their previous album.

The single is excellent, but the rest of the tunes felt generally jumbled and chaotic.

If you're looking to buy this based purely on their current single, then I'd give this a miss.
Luckily my girlfriend is a Hot Chip fan, so I gave this to her.

After listening to the whole album the second time i now belive it is better than the first but now i really cant get the lyrics "I'm only going to heaven if it feels like hell, I'm only going to heaven if it tastes like caramel" out of my head its a really good album and i would recommend if you like any of hot chip's songs

This album is fantastically funky!
It's perfect for preparing to party and chilling out.

I am ashamed to say this is me first hot chip album and definitely wont be me last! Ive heard a few tracks off 'the warning' but never bought it but it is on me wishlist now!

The album itself is just fantastic such great songs and it never lets up! Proper dance music unlike cascada and basshunter which use the same beat throughout each and every song! (GRRRR) Highlights are Out at the pictures, shake a fist, bendable poseable and hold on!
