A very fine comeback...

The Crowes first album in seven years is surprisingly good. Lots of cool guitar playing, strong lyrics and Chris Robinson is in great form. My favorite track is "Oh Josephine" which has a great build up at the end. Other highlights includes the groovy "Evergreen", the folk tinged "Locust Street" and the slide heavy "Wounded Bird". All in all, a very respectable comeback. Welcome back guys!

Well after something like 7 years - The Black Crowes are back!
'Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution' is a stand out track for me - admittedly the album took a few listens to get in to, but is good nevertheless.
The Black Crowes are a bluesy rock band from the Deep South that stick to their roots, and this is what they do best. They have a different sound to most of the other bands out there - and in essence, this is why they and their music is so good.
Welcome Return

With their first new release in 7 years and various new members, the Crowes are back on form. Stand out tracks include: Wounded Bird, Movin' Down the Line, Daughters of the Revolution, and Wee Who See The Deep. If you've never heard this band before, you're missing out. For those who are already fans: They're Back!
