these are awesome in all sense of the word, i was working at the warehouse one day and heard one of their songs and asked my colleague what it was, he told me, i got the album, i listened intently, i liked i liked. and now every time i stick it on the old love amp and pump those speakers up it sends shockwaves through my cerebral senses and i get something i didn't get before. GET THIS ALBUM
First love, last love, it's only love...

One of the next best bands! So much better than other indie music such as The Hoosiers and Scouting for Girls who are dire in comparison. Get ready to boogie to all of these brilliant songs!!!
Great Album

If you are thinking of buying this album i recommend that you do it's great. If you have the album already i would still recommend buying it as it has great bonus tracks that are hard to find on cd single or vinyl.
GREAT ALBUM... (and the pitfalls of the music industry too)

The above comment reflects a pooor understanding of the music industry and really deserves a reply...
The first time 'Colouring It In' was released it was rushed, under-promoted and received a sales-count that reflected this poor promotion effort. Now the Maccabees, 'Toothpaste Kisses' is in a TV advert, the record company are 'interested' once again and willing to spend money on re-promoting the album. Unfair I know- but it is how it works. And hopefully this time around the band will get the sales figures this, FANTASTIC 'no-track-skipping' album, really deserves.
I urge you to buy it- worth every penny, as at least spending your money on an album like this will really make a difference to the bands fortunes and success (I normally download, but when the artist is truly 'up and coming' and without 'big-money' backing I don't mind forking out- especially when its such a great album to boot).
If you like what you've heard of the Maccabees, or are looking for some new worthy talent to add to your collection then definately buy this album- its not to be missed!
Love It!!!

Don't encourage them to re-release their albums. Colour it in came out about a year ago now, and what about those of us who bought it then. This should be a seperate E.P if they want to release new tracks
