I saw this show last week and it blew me away. It was amazing! So true to both the movie and the book at the same time.
Brilliant.

I went to see this last November and am going again this May. I was doubtful that lotr could work as a musical but it is simply amazing. The music is beautiful and I am so glad that the cast recording has finally been released. It is definitely worth buying this and going to see the show - make sure you don't miss it before it closes in London this summer!
LOVE IT!

i couldn't begin to believe that they could capture the magic of lord of the rings in 3 hours in a musical .......... but they DID! This is amazing! You have to understand that they couldn't fit the whole three books in and that they had to leave out parts. The point is that the muscial is a great acheivement it is amazing! They definitely captured the magic! You really feel apart of the production with the hobbits in the audience at the beginning to the orcs coming out into the audience in the 2nd interval. I would true recomented watching this stunning performance! It is a disgrace that the press didn't see how amazing it is! I am appalled to hear it might be ending! Go and see it NOW!
