Although this is the first album I have heard by the band, It seems like it loses itself at several points throughout the album.

Certainly, if you're seeking an album based on the popular song "Delilah", you'll probably be a little disappointed as the musical style of the band is different to the simplicity of that track. There's a few tracks worthy of merit, but overall it's a relatively average album with tracks that feel a bit like fillers and would have made a better EP than album based on tracks that should have qualified for the album.

Some bands can sell albums without having to release singles to get in the eye of the public, based upon a history of consistently good records. These guys are going to need the singles, but alas, they'll be few and far between on this album.

The songwriting and composition are not terrible, so these guys have it in them, but it's just not on this release.

I'm afraid I disagree with the last review left. This album was really dull and I kept skipping tracks to find a good one. This CD is tucked away in my CD rack now and will probably never be played again.....Sorry!!

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars It's a good album but...

I have liked Plain White T's for quite a long time. I think that this is by far the best of their albums. However, i think it is very annoying when bands re-release albums, putting more extras on the newer version. I think it is unfair on serious fans who buy albums as soon as they come out to do this, why not put this one out first as a limited edition cd?
Anyway, for someone looking for a Plain White T's CD, get this one, it is by far their best.
It is one of the rare albums nowdays that you can be happy listening to all the way through without skipping tracks, it it will never leave your CD player!
