For starters, I thought James Arthur had something special from the moment he came onto the X Factor, we all felt sorry for him that he had had a hard life in the past. Then he started singing, and I knew from that moment that he had a voice that could win the X Factor. Seeing him progressing every week on the show, he jus got better and better and better. If I had of chosen his best performance, other than this, his winners single, it would of been either 'Lets Get It On' by Martin Gaye, or 'The Power of Love' by Gabrielle Aplin, if I had my way, he shouldof sang one of these two for his winners single, when I hear he was singing 'Impossible' by Shontelle, I was quite shocked, cos the original version of the song wasn't a massive hit for me unfortunately. Eventually, when he performed the song live, I loved it, he put the original to shame, I loved it, after this I thought, I want him to win, but I don't. Cos on the X Factor, it seems that the finalists do a lot better than first place, look at Rebecca Ferguson, Amelia Lily, Olly Murs, JLS, One Direction, these are all doing better than the ones who beat them, so I kind of wanted Jahmene to win, even though I couldn't stand him. When it was revealed that James Arthur was the winner, I was amazed, I really want this guy to do well, after what he's been through in life, he has a very special singing voice, I hope in a few years time he's up there with Leona Lewis.
