If you were a fan of james throughout the x factor, you will be pleasantly surprised to hear hes stuck to his roots with his debut album. The album reminds fans of just how rough and enjoyable james vocals are. Although the album is a little as many would call 'depressing' i love it and wouldn't have it any way. There's a good mix of rhythm in the album and i am already finding it hard to take off of repeat.

 Awesome Arthur!

On first hearing this album, I knew it was well worth waiting for. Its James Arthur at his brilliant best. His raw vocals that captivated me on X Factor are as they were, unspoilt, and his songwriting skills are fully laid bare. Its superb! My buy of the year most definitely!

I love it some may hate it

He is a unique artist, I think if you weren't expecting this style of music from him then you've completely misunderstood his genre, he wasn't exactly going to bring out a load pop rubbish or do a cover album like fellow x factor contestant jahmene douglas. I love his voice some may not but if you do love his love voice you'll love this album, he could be criticised for overdoing the vocals at times but he definitely shouldn't be slated for being himself as an artist.
