I liked the singles and the a few of the album songs were great but it lacked that "Thing" that made me want to listen to it all day and read the booklet over and over.... if you get what i mean. but worth a listen i think.
Awesome Band

I'll be honest; I was converted as soon as I heard the name. I would have bought the album there and then. Then they started playing. Seconds in I was bought for life. One of the best live bands I've seen. I took some friends to see them and they were converted as well.
The album doesn't sound as good as it does live, unfortunately. That being said, it stands perfectly strongly on it's own and is one of my favourite albums. Look out for these guys in the future.
No it doesn't

This is a top quality debut album, with great riffs and vocal offerings.
With most of the tracks built around the Nu Rave synth vibe, the album is a bundle of pleasure. With a little bit of everything for everyone.
A must have for any scenester

this band are definately one of the bands to look out for in 2008, they define nu rave for me certainly more than the klaxons ever could. they capture the essence of nu rave and take much inspiration from dance bands aswell as modern indie bands, like daft punk meets the klaxons. only better than you can ever imagine. Not one bad song on the album and every song is a top tune. no weak songs ere. Also seen these lot live and they without a doubt the best support band that ive ever seen, get the crowd going with so much enthusiasm and energy. NUFF SED, BUY THIS ALBUM !!!!

It took me a little while to 'get' this record. Despite being a huge fan of Primal Screams brilliant experimental electro/Dance era (Evil Heat, Vanishing Point, Xtrmntr) this was still an unusual set of songs and i admit i kept the reciept at first. But after listening beyond the great little 80's throw back pop tunes 'Dawn of the Dead' and 'Epic last song' I started to really get in to it. There's literally not one song I skip on this record now. I'm now promising myself to see them live this year as you can really hear the live energy come through on the tunes which is rare in this age of over production! Great effort lads! BUY THIS RECORD!!
love it!!!

After reading various reviews, I was a little bit worried, but I' so glad I got it anyway! This is pure electro rock gold! The perfect rock version between Daft Punk and Justice. They really define Nu Rave so much more than the Klaxons or Test - Icles managed. If you like electro, or most forward moving indie bands (Foals etc) then you'll love this!
A MUST BUY
