Ok, this is the weakest film of the lot but the soundtrack is still fantasic. John Williams is a true legend and seems to capture the imagination in everything he does. Put the headphones on, sit back and be transported into the film. Duel of the Fates is perhaps the darkest most profound tune of all the start wars films. The flag parade and Qui Gons Funeral touch a nerve for very different reasons. The film sets the scene for whats to come and the soundtrack alone leaves you wanting more. This is mesmerising stuff folks and its hard to believe Episode II and III soundtracks are better - they are believe it or not but this is still devastatingly good. Star Wars fan or not, classical music fan or not, this is a close to perfection as soundtrack music gets. The somewhat uncomprehandable fact though is that the soundtracks for the following 2 films are better still - believe me and have a listen!
