Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars A good collection still missing a few tracks

For years there were no genesis hits or best of's then three in the same number of years. For the pop fans then the hits is a basic collection, the tour edition that followed was more indepth, and has a few different tracks not on this collection, like Happy the man, pigeons and me and Virgil, which are rare and could have been squeezed on kicking off calling all stations. The running order is good so by the time you are on the third disc Gabriel is the centre and Suppers ready is there in full. genesis fans are in two camps the gabriel camp and the collins camp. I like both, and admit there were good and bad tracks in both periods.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Good collection

This compilation has it all. First disc has some of their 'Poppy' 80's stuff. Second disc gets a little heavier with some of their classic tracks like Abacab and Follow You Follow Me.

Third disc is for the real Genesis fans with the marathon Suppers Ready, Tony's masterly keyboards in Firth of Fifth and the under rated Carpet Crawlers.

If you like Genesis, but don't have many of their albums, this is a good buy, especially if you haven't hear much of their earlier stuff.

May make you want to hear more!

Bought this when it came out just after the 2007 Turn It On Again tour. This album has various tracks through the illustrious history of Genesis. Definetly worth a look for 15 quid since it has quite a fair bit of listening time from blasting country roads, motorway miles or just plodding round town. Worth it.
