power metal, with strong neoclassical and black metal overtones. BLOODDRUNK
pleased many critics, restoring the absolute mania of a CoB album which was lacking on their last album ARE YOU DEAD
YET? Blooddrunk is more melodic, and makes good use of the main element of a metal song, what I call The Almighty Riff (amen)
Alexi's leads are intense and Janne's keyboard solos are excellent.

BLOODDRUNK is a middle ground between their neoclassical sound on early albums, and the post-hardcore/metalcore style they so abruptly took on ARE YOU DEAD YET?. If you were disappointed with the direction the band took on ARE YOU DEAD YET?, you will not be disappointed in BLOODDRUNK.

Definitely worth a listen. I hear theyre re-releasing their first 4 albums too with bonus material. And some signings and gigs in Dublin (June11) and Glasgow (June12). Check it out
