I got this album basically because i liked some of their stuff I'd heard a while back. I have to admit i wasn't crazy for the album at first, however, after a couple more listens, the songs started to stick in my head, not because they are completely upbeat, but because certain parts of the songs really get you. Some are really catchy but the ones that are more 'deep' really shine for other reasons; just listen to P's and Q's and try and get that out of your head. I'm not sure if I Was A Cub Scout will ever be mainstream, but i really don't care, i'm just glad i did give them a chance and can appreciate their music. They deserve to be checked out.
