I've been following this band for awhile now and even had the good fortune to catch them live the other week. (They are excellent live in case you were wondering.)
They are a young Australian band that do a great pop indie (much better and more complex than us Brits are churning out at the moment).
Guitars - check.
Drums - check.
Keyboard - check.
Belting lead vocals - check.
And . .err . .violin - Check!!!
Yes they have a violinist (classically trained) in the band and they use it to great effect.
Well worth checking out.

 fresh pop rock

this album takes a look at pop- rock and adds a fresh twist to it, from the melodies of the violinist and lead singer to the old school keyboarding
i saw this band in leeds and they are so down to earth and have some right belters on this album including, song about ping pong, cringe and 2 for my seconds

currently recording their 2nd album in the homeland of australia

an impressive start for a band so young

Perky Pop Fresh From Oz - worth a look!

Nice little pop album this, the youthful exuberance of these Australian teenagers is stamped all over this record, resulting in some glorious sugar sweet poptastic moments - highlights for me include "Just A Song About Ping Pong", "Leave It Alone", "Get What You Want" and the title track "Yes Yes Vindictive". If you like a bit of POP in your life then you could do far worse than getting hold of this.
