i would say this band are no special talent and follow a long line of indie rock pop.

Easily the worst in a long line of rubbish Indie Bands that use the same recycled riff over and over.
Very good

I don't know what some people's problem is!!!. I have just purchased this album with very high expectations as to how it should sound. Now first off yes the original album was excellent and catchy and fun. But please remember how in an overflooded market of this genre it is so difficult to differentiate yourself from other bands and why the hell does the second album have to sound a clone of the first!. I put the new album on for the first time on the way to work and all i can say is i loved it instantly and for me being an avid Stereophonics fan (Best band ever by the way-Bar none) is an achievement. Time for a fresh sound from the P.D and a welcome one if you ask me. This album just shows how a great band can turn into an awsome band, well done lads and i look forward to listening to the album on the way home etc etc. (I wish i had gone to see them at blackpool now DAMM!!!).
Enjoyed

I really enjoyed this album and I am a big fan of the band. People keep commenting how its not like the first album but why should it. They have taken a new approach and after a few listens you really get into it.
I really like track 3 keep on your dress
BORING

These songs are not a touch on their first album which was full of fast, great guitar music! last year at leeds you were great, but this album isnt!

I don't understand really what's going on, i've listened to this album enough times to realize that it's a fantastic second effort from the Pigeon Detectives.
Everyone else seems to feel it's a dissapointing follow up, but if you disconnect it from their first album, it's fantastic. The opening song 'This is an Emergency' (which has been played on radio 1 more times than i care to think of), is a really catchy, simple song with a great chorus.
Other songs on the album such as, 'I'm a liar', 'Keep on your dress' and 'Everybody wants me' are brilliant 'single worthy' songs, and all the others are fantastic album-fillers.
This really is one of the better albums of 2008, and thanks to seemingly bad reviews, the cost has been lowered considerably. For £7, you really can't go wrong with this album!!!
Good, not great

Their debut was fantastic- one of the best CD's of last year which prompted me to buy tickets for one of their gigs. This CD came out just before I went to see them so bought it so I know the songs at the concert and was quite disappointed. Its very samey with few stand out songs and nothing near as good as the classics off the first CD. See them live though- one of the best gigs Ive ever seen and they played most of their first CD anyway!!
..meh

I think its my own fault for not really connecting with this album.
i bought this with alot of expectation because Wait for Me was so good. I would'nt say i dislike the album but there was nothing that stood out. Usually when you listen to an album a couple of songs grab your attention. Didn't to it for me. Ill give it 4 stars purely on the basis that it could grow on me.
Top 3 Songs: Keep On Your Dress, Emergency and I'm a Liar
