I really like this album. Bought it after hearing Humming Bird (from the orange ad) and I Need A Life. It has a really catchy, snappy feel to it with some of the most unique vocal and musical twists to the songs. Barnacle Goose stands out as one of the strongest. They have been compared to the class Vampire Weekend as far as their sound goes but they actually existed before them and arent too similar in my view. You can appreciate the differences and qualities of these two bands. These are again, very different from the indie clone bands, and for that reason stand out brilliantly. If you have heard Vampire Weekend and like their uplifting sound, then giving these a chance wouldn't be the worst thing you could do. Good stuff, hope to hear more from them in the future.
Fan-funking-tastic.

Heard/saw these guys on Skins and then later on the Orange ad, but no-one was able to tell me who they were. Once I put a little effort in [gotta love Google baby] I found this album.
Really interesting sound, stands out from most of the stuff out there at the moment; Catchy enough to have you humming it all day, but not so repetetive that the humming will bug you.
If you like original, if you like skins-music, if you like good music - get it and you'll not regret it.
Wow

I was really impressed with this band, they came from nowhere despite the album being released in like 2006 in america!
If you've seen the orange advert with "Hummingbird" as the song! And you loved it....you'll love the album! Quite different to anything out there at the moment!
