I was left speechless at this album. The only reason i bought this album was for the songs 'aint no rest for the wicked' and'in one ear'. But its is one of the very few albums which absoultly love evry single song on. If you like in one ear or aint no rest you will love this whole album
Excellent

Although i'm not sayin this album is great, it certainly is a good one. Now before i say anymore, i must say that I'm quite picky when it comes to music so you may disagree with me. Anyway, i like cage the elephant, when i heard them at Leeds/Reading festival i instantly loved their sound, if you like indie bands such as The holloways or The wombats, you wil certainly like these. Perhaps my favourite songs of the album are, : Ain't no rest for the wicked, in one ear, judas and back against the wall, while these songs are well worth buying the album for the other songs are what makes this album good, not great.
Nice One!

Saw them when they were supporting Simple Plan, they had lots of energy and were really great to watch, got the album the other day and I really like it, very simple music but very catchy, if you like punk rock, you'll love it!
Brilliant

After my first listen I wasn't convinced. Although now it might as well be stuck in my CD player. Definately listen to it a few times to get the best.
Best Track [Mix] Not Included!

If like me you buy this album principally on the strength of the two singles, "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked and "In One Ear", you'll be slightly irked to find "Ain't..." isn't the version you've heard accompanying the video, but an "original" version instead - which isn't as rich/heavy sounding. (Much like Muse's "Butterflies & Hurricanes").
Fortunately Play's MP3 downloads section have a "Radio Edit" of it that you can pick up to replace it, although I'm not convinced even this is the same version as the video.
Overall, the album's a good one, although none of the tracks are up to the standard of the singles - but then very few albums are.
One of the best live

Saw them supporting pigeon detectives, but had heard their stuff previously. Definatley a top band of the year, i think this shows through the amount of headline dates and festivals through out the summer - not many bands hit this kind of sucess with a debut album in their first year, especially when they aren't even from the UK!
A definate buy.
pre order cage the elephant now.

The USA is a hotbed of talent at the moment. and bands like Cage The Elephant, Marah and Gringo Star lead the way. This album is a classic example of the quality thats coming through
